ABOUT

Untitled design (65).png

I enjoy supporting queer, trans, and neurodivergent humans in their quest to thrive.

WHO I AM

Untitled design (68).png

I am a white, middle class, middle ager, with marginalized identities related to physical disability, neurotype, gender, and sexuality. I am a trauma therapist, group facilitator, clinical consultant, weirdo, gardener, music lover, and parent. I love to facilitate change with adults who want to understand and heal from trauma and strive to create family and community spaces that celebrate people for who they are. I believe in honoring the complexities of our human experiences, while also fighting to dismantle systems of oppression, and increasing growth through caring connection and accountability. â€‹

I was raised in an upper middle class family in Berkeley California in the 80's and 90's. Yeah, no cell phones, shenanigans, art and music exploration, and public schools where just about everything goes. In 1998 I permanently settled in Portland, Oregon after completing undergraduate studies.

I started my social work career supporting kids and families affected by HIV/AIDS, and later worked in community mental health roles as a consultant and child and family therapist. Since 2021 I have focused exclusively on adult therapy for queer and trans folks. I am disability and racial justice oriented, and believe increased liberation from systems of oppression is essential for healing.

My healing journey involves plants, music, and delighting in all the creatures around me. So in between sessions I can be found tending to plants in my garden, talking with resident hummingbirds, getting distracted with my thoughts, communing with the household pets, and zoning out to my latest music hyper-fixation. I am a fierce advocate for the queer and neurodivergent beings in my life, absolutley enjoy four letter words, enjoy short walks, and I am passionate about comfort by whatever means necessary.
