BONUS
CARDS

5   -

Of these lessons learned, ways you grew, challenges, etc, what should/could you take with you?

6, 7  -

Two cards that represent what the coming year's journey has to offer. Knowledge you will gain, lessons that will present themselves, growth areas, and new paths you may forge.

8, 9  -

Two cards that represent how you can best greet this new path. How can you orient yourself to make the most of these offerings and approach them curiosity.

10  -

Advice and blessings for growing through therapy, and as a person, in the coming year.

11  -

Advice and blessings for being in healthier relationship with others. (optional to add this card, because why not?)

12  -

Advice and blessings for being in healthier relationship with yourself. (optional to add this card, but you know you should!)

Life provides offerings. If we pay attention they can be useful. This is a great spread for when you have (or your client has) completed a year in therapy, a year around the sun, or when it just feels like it has been a while since you checked in with yourself. It provides introspection about last years (past) lessons, and gives a gentle (maybe) nudge into the coming year (future). Here you can explore ways that you can come into betterment with yourself and maybe listen to the universe a little. It's a pretty robust spread (10 -12 cards), so therapists, you better hustle through, or make this a two session quest.

"I KNOW WHAT I NEED TO DO, I JUST DON'T KNOW IF I HAVE THE STRENGTH TO DO IT" SPREAD

When There's a Change or Decision You Need to Make, and You Need Some Guidance and Motivation

What past experiences or core beliefs are informing my fears and anxieties and making this decision more difficult? What shadows are clouding my vision?

2

How have I learned from these experiences? What lessons can I take with me into this new challenge?

3

How am I getting stuck in this process? What can I do to get unstuck?

4 -

How can I get more grounded when things feel hard and I need to accept change. What resources do I have at my disposal? How can I get help?

5 -

How to tap into my inner wisdom? What inspiration can I draw from to help motivate me? What is my gut telling me?

6, 7 -

Two cards that represent the lessons that I might learn as I face this challenge and make some hard decisions.

8 -

Blessings, advice, and possible warnings, to inform me and give me strength as I take this difficult step toward betterment.

We all have those moments where we know that something needs to happen, and we are avoiding the challenging steps to initiate a change, walk away from something, or simply admit that we kinda maybe fucked up. This spread will offer some guidance on finding your strength. So why not ask the cards for a little enlightenment, even though you probably already have the answer. Watch out, you might find yourself saying "Fine! Tell me something I don't know". But sometimes we just need that little reminder to quit stalling. This is a great spread for dealing with avoidance in and out of therapy.
